He assures that she and he would not let any harm befall Jhansi. Meanwhile, Rao Dulajo informs Nelson that only Moropant and Damodar were in the palace. Nelson gives Rao Dulajo a letter for Laxmibai supposedly written by Ellis. When on his way, Ellis sees a veiled woman crying but to his shock, masked men surround him. A fight ensues but Ellis gets hit on the head and he collapses. On the other hand, the British attack the soldiers inside the Jhansi Fort.
