Before he can unveil Rana Bankura, Mangal Pandey and his fellow sepoys kill British troops. Rana Bankura wounds Nelson's eye and unveils herself. Pandey realises she is Jhansi's queen, saves her from being shot by Nelson and reveals to her he is a British sepoy in Barrackpore. The two laud each other's valour. Nelson slits one of his Indian captors and uses the other as a shield to flee.
