Laxmibai is overwhelmed to see her portraits that Gangadhar had painted in her absence. If they succeed in doing that, the British officers promise to give them the administrative powers of Jhansi. The British officers suggest that they should use Vahini Saheb for this purpose. Meanwhile, Vahini Saheb asks Laxmibai's maids about Laxmibai's whereabouts. The maids do not reveal that she is with Gangadhar Rao. Gangadhar and Laxmibai spend some romantic moments with each other. Gangadhar shows her a sculpture made by him, whose face is incomplete because he didn't know how she looked now.
