Laxmibai promises Nelson that she will return to take back Jhansi from him. Seeing Ellis hold him at gunpoint, Nelson vows to destroy him. While Ellis is questioning Nelson, one of the British guard hits Ellis on the head, and Ellis collapses. Meanwhile, Laxmibai's confidantes bravely fight Hamilton and his men. Hamilton and Laxmibai come face to face with each other. She exhorts the residents of Jhansi to come out and fight the British, so they put up a valiant fight against them. Hamilton is held captive. Meanwhile, the Jhansi subjects request Laxmibai to celebrate Damodar's birthday in the temple of Jhansi. She presents Damodar with the soil of Jhansi.
