Garrett is excited to be the starting pitcher since he is confident they will win, and Sydney will walk off the field for him. Grant Booth announces he will be running for Mayor, and Sydney and Garrett are shocked. The game comes down to the final, and Garrett steals the play from Owen. Sydney approaches Garrett but turns away with tears in her eyes and walks off the field by herself.
