So, Manu searches for it and ties it again. Colonel Spears and Fraser accuse Manu of illegal activities. But Gangadhar takes a stand and supports Manu's actions. He commands Tatya Dixit to take the 'shagun' to Bithur immediately. Janki Bai tells Gangadhar that it doesn't suit him to marry a commoner's daughter.
