Laxmibai announces in the court about Gangadhar's second marriage and that she will select a bride for Gangadhar. Everyone is shocked. Even the people of Jhansi are shocked. Hirabai tells Laxmibai to get used to living away from Gangadhar. Lord Dalhousie gets very angry when he hears about Gangadhar's marriage. He orders Nelson to stop the marriage.
